Put that record on

Bat for Lashes - The Haunted Man

Ellie Goulding - Halcyon

The Van Jets - Halo

Fall traditionally brings us new tunes. The haul this year has been quite impressive and there’s still two months to go in 2012. I’ve had these three albums on repeat for the last couple of weeks. I already can’t wait for more new albums to be released but for now, The Van Jets’ Halo has a great chance to become my 2012-favorite. I’m already looking forward to their November 10th gig as they’ll be playing the full record live. Usually, artists select a couple of songs from the new album combined with their hit songs, but they chose to play an integral set of the album. Stay tuned for a blog post about their concert!

Lights

I could easily say that Ellie Goulding’s “Lights” album is one of my top album purchases of the last year, so I really wanted to share the Ellie Goulding Lights mini website with you.

Presented as ‘An Interactive Music Experience’, it’s possible to interact with the environment simply by clicking your mouse’s button to the beat of her hit single “Lights”.

The website uses WebGL, a software library that allows the JavaScript programming language to generate interactive 3D graphics within any compatible browser. Yes, I’m kind of geeking out over this, I admit.

Check it out yourself at lights.elliegoulding.com. I’m still in awe of the amazing 3D sparkles!
