I was invited to their pre-launch last night so I could give you a sneak peek at what’s coming up, starting December 1 (that’s tomorrow, folks!).
Liesbeth and I go way back (I shot her engagement and wedding photos earlier this year), so I knew her little Gift Box in Gent would be perfect. She and Carole made sure to put attention to every detail in the space. Just look at that shop window, how cool are those swings dangling from the ceiling?
Both their webshops complement each other perfectly especially since Liesbeth recently started out with a kids line. Do take a look at those hangers which she had custom-made. If only these were available in grown-up sizes.
Besides selling items from their webshops, these two also wanted to take things to another level by adding Sunday brunches and workshops to a fun-filled December month!
The brunch is hosted by Atelier des FΓͺtes and from the looks of it, you don’t want to miss out on this one. Make sure to have reservations though.
A number of workshops are taking place in the shop as well (they have a workshop space upstairs) and now… drumroll…
Yours truly is hosting no less than two workshops herself!
On December 12th (that’s in less than two weeks), I’ll share my tips and tricks to make photos for your blog. Any type of camera is allowed (I will tell you in the workshop why that is) and I’ll bring cake or cookies or both!
One week later I’m hosting a smartphone photography workshop due to popular demand (as with the previous workshop, just so you know). I will bring something sweet that day as well.
Key to both workshops is practice. Spaces are limited to ten participants so I can give individual feedback. The workshop space has a nice big window upstairs but we can also go outside if you’re shooting outfit posts most of the time.
If you’re planning on stopping by or have any questions, just leave them in the comments below!

Are you a fan of the pop-up shops roaming the streets nowadays or do you prefer them to stay online or somewhere permanent?
